xiaobaitu, please help...my I-140 RFE notice

My I-140 RFE notice is missing. I had my attorney to call the USCIS 40 days ago and also asked him to write a letter to the USCIS about 10 days ago per your recommedation. However, I still haven't received the I-140 notice yet. And what frustrated me most is that my attorney said he had tried his best and didn't want to call the USCIS again. I am really worried about my green card petition since I worried if my I-140 would be denied by passing the deadline. Can I ask my employer to write the USCIS another inquring letter? But the USCIS said only the attorney can contact them for this issue... What other options do I have? Please help!
