You need waive. You will be asking all the previous documents so you cannot hide your situation. On the other hand, if you hide your previous situation and be found, it is called fraud and your case will pretty much finish without RFE.

Do everything you need to do. There is no short cut, especially immigration stuff. Don't take risk.
