most of multiple 485 cases discussed in this forum are not necessary.

for example, many people file the 2nd 485 only for the sake of secure feeling, and nothing else.

maybe you prefer 2nd 485 in your case, but i would only transfer the bec pd to the niw pd even if all my fees could be reimbursed

also, some people report that uscis could link the latest(or highest)140 to 485, and i believe it's true.

if this is the way uscis sets up the system, most of the multiple 485 are simply waste of money and energy
