配偶必须和我同时递交I-485吗？

想赶在这次8月18日前申请绿卡。但我夫人现在国内，本来预定8月底的票。现在的问题是是否可以我先提交I-485,等她回来后再提交她的。还是必须赶回来和我同时提交？请各位大侠和朋友帮忙解答。多谢了！
