I have exactly the same situation, i.e. receiving approval email but online status is still "in process". My lawyer told me that USCIS has informed them that there was an error in the system. As a result, the approval email was probably a mistake. I even called TSC and was told the same thing: my case was still in process and NOT approved. What a chaos!
