我好倒霉！ f1 不小心expires!

明明一般博士班都是五年为什么 ， 我的 I20上是三年。我在一个phd program 这才第三年。 五月三十一号 F1 expired 因为我疏忽了 延期i20！！！

现在要重新交材料到 DHS reinstate my F1 status !!!
Question:

I have a family based 485 已经面试过有一个月了。
我递交f1 extension 给homeland security 会有矛盾吗？
如果我干脆申请工作许可（485 based) 哪？
要多长时间？ 工作许可在上学期间其实也可以用来拿assistantship 吧？

我实在是需要帮助。 多谢啦
