I-485 processing order

I am just curious how USCIS processes I-485 cases. Suppose my PD=11/24/2006, RD=07/30/2007, and another guy's PD=07/02/2007, RD=07/02/2007 (concurrent filing of I-140 and I-485 no LC) in the same category (EB-2). How will USCIS process these two cases? Can anybody explain? Thanks.
