Internal Transfer Available

I have an opportunity to apply for an position within the company but in a different location ( actually I'm working in the midwest while the other office in the soucheast ). I'm wondering what's the impact would be on my GC application if I took such an internal transfer. My current status is:
I-140 pending and I-485 not file yet.
