重贴. question about I-485 name check

I was told by AUSA today that my name check was clear one year ago, but my wife's is still pending. Since my I-485 was submitted as a beneficiary of my wife's I-140, both my wife and my I-485 cases will be held. Is that true? Does anybody have similar situation? Thanks.
