Mom with severe disease wants to see 2 grandsons, not me

My mom has a severe disease, I estimate she is difficult to go through this winter, so I decide to go back to China and I think it is the last chance to see her, but she wants to see my sons. I intend to bring my old kid to go, but he disagrees, he would like to go to China with his little brother (only 19 months, both my wife and I do not want to take him to go).
