If this happen, your hu*****and would have to wait here until October in order to file his 485. Technically, he will be out of status once your 485 is approved by September.
Personally I don't think it matters if your hu*****and is inside US as H4 holder if your 485 is approved. He should be allowed to be out of status briefly like less than 180 days, and it's not your fault.
