PhD 非研究性职位自己办绿卡的难度？

本人5月份计算机博士毕业，目前在公司工作， 非研究性职位
公司不太可能按EB1半绿卡。
想问一下自己办的话，Eb1或者NIW难度大吗？
有没有人这样做的？不知道值不值得多花这时间和精力。
跟着公司办的话， 应该早晚能下来吧。不过就是不能换工作，要使万一被裁了也就没戏了。
