真这样吗:no receipt notice after 2 months is common

我公司内外办我H-1B延期的律师全忙着7月485，材料6月初准备全都递上去了，到现在还连个消息都没有，很是着急。
不知他们怎么想的，H-1B不能及时延期，我合法身份都没了，这怎么也比7月485重要呀。
