I-140 outstanding 紧急求助

我是postdoc, 想办outstanding researcher
但学校officially 是不sponsor绿卡的.

我想叫我老板把I-140 签了. 行不行?
(律师说,很多人都这样做, 老板也答应帮忙
签的, 但老板没什么头衔,只是普通的教授.)

老板还说, 他和系里的 Associate Chair 关系
很好, 如果需要,可以叫系里的 Associate Chair
签.

请问 (1). 老板自己签, 究竟行不行?
(2). 如果叫associate Chair签, 是否更好,
associate Chair 的头衔够不够?
