几个新消息!

1. 凡是6月以前递的485 仍会被处理和批准,但不会发生在八月以后.现在堵住485的提交,实际是更有利于手头485的批准.
2. 移民局的确至今还有大量剩余名额,虽然远少于以前宣布的4万.
3. 移民局先前计算名额的方法是进入处理程序(含NC),就为用掉一个或多个(家属)名额,然而后来因为单个案件处理的积压,拒绝而导致估计名额使用的夸大(实际是批准一个才用掉一个). 移民局今后将抛弃该估算方法.根据新的估算方法(提交数量和名额的比例),今年剩余的名额肯定会在七月用完.
4.由于六月份征调大批其他案件的移民官来处理485, 并因此导致了其他案件,如工卡,AP的积压.从八月起,由于485的暂停,预计其它案件的处理速度将会大幅度提升.
5.由于本周来自各方面的压力,包括申请者和律师协会的压力,主要是法律起诉的压力.移民局和国务院内部已经作出检讨.但两个单位认为本周排期更新的行为是合乎移民制度,而且是有利于移民申请者的.对于个别的种族起诉,因为这次取消的是全世界的485申请,因此是不成立的.
6.7.2收到的申请将被退回没有例外,这样才能保持公平的原则.
