美国国务院在七月份的 VB 中(released on 6/12/07)宣布所有的 EB 类 (except Other Workers) 都 Current，即意味着从七月一日起所有的申请人都能 file I-485。然而，DOS 和 USCIS 分别于七月二日通告，从即日起，2007年度的所有移民指标均已分完。

于是，所有的七月份起收到的 I-485 申请将会被 rejected，这种情况将持续直至9/30/07.

1) Will USCIS cash the fee then return my application?
- No. The application will be returned with your full payment.

2) Should I check "Yes" to "Have you ever before applied for permanent resident status in the U.S.?" in I-485 next time?
- No, this one is not counted when it is rejected.

3) How long is my medical examination (I-693) good for?
- "The results of the medical examination are generally valid for only 12 months."

4) What should I do after I filed I-485?
- Be sure to keep your mailing receipt, and return notice from USCIS when your application is rejected.

5) What should I do if I have yet filed I-485?
