well, slow TSC.
started at the end of 99.
submit I485 at 6/2001, notice day 8/2001.
fp 3/2003, RFE 2/2004, mailed out RFE at 4/2/2004
and approved at 4/8/2004

so I think as long as you get RFE from TSC, you will get your GC right away after you submit your RFE.
