can i continue my J-1 application---victim of 7/2/07

I had planned to file I485 with my hu*****and next week, and sent out a letter to withdraw my application of change of status to J-1 (I am F-1 on OPT till August 19) last week. USCIS need a reason that I withdraw my application, and I told them the truth---want to file 485 as a dependent and can not apply for J-1 any more.

Now things happened today, I want to continue my J-1 application so that I can work again after my OPT expires. At this point, do you think that USCIS will reject my J-1 application because I have immigration intent as indicated in my letter to them ? Any suggestion and/or advice? My hu*****and is applying EB2 NIW, I140 receive date: 7/26/06, in NSC, pending. Should I change to H4 and wait till I can file I485 again?
