485 申请过程中的简单问题/个人解答/装订


我家的CASE很简单，我也就是根据自己的经历来写，仅供参考。
每个家庭的背景经历都不同，所以建议每个人还是以律师的专业回答为准。

485的简单cover letter

3. form 131
4. Form G-325A
5. Copy of approval notice of I-140
6. Supporting letter from employer and W2 copies from 2004-2006
7. Birth Certificate
8. Copy of passport, visa, I-94, I-20
9. 6 passport photos;
10. sealed medical exam
11. check payable to USCIS in the amount of $745 （including $70 biometric fee）

485 form

Part1.
A#：如果从没有申请485，A#应该是none. (OPT的A#不算数的)
Date of Last Arrival: 应该是你持有效签证入关的那次。如果从加拿大回美国没有办美国签证，也没有上交，取得新的I-94，是不算入关的。（但我不知道，如果没办签证，却拿到新I-94，如何填写）。
Part2：主申请人选a. 配偶选b.
Part3: were you inspected by a US Immigration officer: 选择YES。这里是指你拿合法签证入关，US Immigration officer给你的I-94上盖上合法身份的章。非法入境或是偷渡，算是NO。（但也听说选NO也没事儿）。

2. Expected Length of Trip: example: 3-5 weeks

Part7: 1. check More than one trip


其他注意的地方：

两个人的申请应该分别装订（但485/765/131是bound到一起的）。
两个人两张支票就可（每个人是325+70+170+180=745）

照片后面要用铅笔写上名字，每个人的6张照片分别放在一个小信封里（比2X2大一点点），然后bound/staple到你的cover letter上。

支票也要staple到每个人申请的第一页上。

在上方用标准的双眼打孔，每个人的申请分别装订。

两个人的申请放在一个纸袋里，至少要用USPS的return receipt 寄走。如果用fedex寄走，地址要改写。
