health insurance during EAD gap?

Hi, everybody,

I may not be able to get my new EAD before the current one expires. During the gap, I heard I need to stop working and off payroll. But will I have the health insurance my employer provides? I am concerned because I am pragnent and my baby is due during this gap!!!!!!
