加拿大公民并不能保证他的绿卡不会因为放弃在美国居住而被吊销

当然吊销以后还是可以凭加拿大护照短期入境的
通常两年内可以用reenter permit,不用每半年回来一次，但是四年后将不会再批准reenter permit，那时如果不经常回来，就会被取消绿卡(即使每六个月入境一次，如果每次都呆很短时间，也还是有被取消的可能)
