请问Xiaobaitu: 有I140没批但收到I485approval案例吗?

听朋友说：“有人I140 and I485 同时 file. 结果140还没批，485就批了"
这可能吗？
我问了lawyer, lawyer说 I140 and I1485 are totally independent?
请问批I485前是否要 check I140 批没批?
