Unlike I-140, I-485 is just filling the forms. You can do all I-485, EAD and AP yourself. However, this is a lot paper work, and needs practice. If you are not confident, you can ask a lawyer to do these. On the other hand, if you feel like you can do it, just Do It Yourself.
