XBT please: Filing I-485 during OPT

My NIW I-140 has been approved. My LG is in OPT right now (will expire next May).

If we file I-485 for him (include EAD and AP), can he change to H-1 later?

After filing I-485, is his OPT still valid? Can he work with OPT? Or he has to use I-485 based EAD?

If we just fill I-485, not including EAD and AP, can we file EAD and AP later (maybe by that time our PD will not be current again)?
