485 Relink Question related to AC21 portability

I concurrently filed EB-2 based 140 and 485 more than 180 days ago, and the 140 is still pending. I also have a EB-3 based 140 approved last April.
If I relink the EB-2 485 to the approved EB-3 one in the next month, is the 485 still portable according to AC21? In other words, after relink, can I work for a new employer using EAD?
