Do I need Form I-134 "Affidavit of Support"?

I read I-485 instructions and googled online. I'd like to confirm this.

My case is very typical.

I am the main applicant. Then, my wife (H4) joins me at the I-485 stage.

Does either of us need I-134 to file I-485?
