once your use EAD, you will be AOS and invalid your H1 (however, our international office told me that they can keep my H1, and they can re-instate it if I need it, in orther word, they would NOT revoke my H1 even if I use EAS). You can still work as H1 if you keep working for SAME employer if you come back with AP
