办绿卡律师问题请教

刚开始准备，有问题请教大家：
(1)律师离我们住处3小时，可行吗？我们准备emial联系。
一定要免谈吗，我们还没见过面。有朋友请他办成过。
2，他要我们交5千多，现在交3千多，等140PROVE后交余数。大家也是这样的程序吗?
