Thank you so much for your reply. That sounds reasonable as I was thinking. The thing is I'm filing application for a case number of J1 waiver. The last section in form DS-3035 requires me to fill in my J1-visa history, like control number, issuing post of the first J1 visa. Since I had my status changed within the US, I don't think I have this control number of the first J1 visa. Does that mean I don't have to fill in that item??
