Canada visa...Could you help me,Xiaobaitu, yeeha....?

My hu*****and just landed Canada alone two weeks ago on his business trip. My son and I will go with him to land two days later.
My hu*****and was told to get a visa again before we enter Canada with us. I searched the Canadian Embassy in Detroit. No info was found on the website if an appointment was needed beforehand and how long my hu*****and can get the visa. Our last date for the entry is 16th this month, so we have to do it in a hurry.....
Could you help me? Thanks a lot.
