Xiaobaitu and Rodiology:please help!

My ha*****and has a green card, my green card application is pending.
last November, I got AP and EAD, but I have not found a job yet, thus my EAD has not been used up to now. I heard from the lawyer that my EAD card can not be renewed for next year, because she said I didn't use my EAD card yet. I am looking for a job, I did need EAD for the job. I don't know how to do with my EAD card. Can please you help me with my problem?
