I am an assistant professor at a university. I asked for an employment verification letter and got the following. Will this one work? Appreciate!!!

XXX is an assistant professor (tenure-track) in the Department of YYY at ZZZ University since DDDDDD. This is a full time multi-year position that is intended to lead to tenure. XXX's current salary is $$$. The salary review process for the coming academic year is currently under way so I am unable to provide a specific figure for 2007-2008. However, XXX's 2007-2008 salary will in no case be lower than his 2006-2007 salary.
