FBI来信，愿供大家共享

诸位：本人于三月二十三给布什夫人去信，请求帮助查询NC一事，今天终于接到了FBI的来信，现将该信的内容公布如下，但愿对大家有所帮助。

Dear Dr. xxxx

Your letter dated March 23, 2007, directed to Mrs. George W.Bush concerning your name check status for immigration purposes, was forwarded to the Department of Justice and subsequently referred to the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) for reply.

A review of the FBI's name check program database revealed that your request was received from the USCIS on April 20, 2004. This submission was processed and finalized on May 13, 2007. The results were forwarded to the USCIS Headquarters, Washington, D.C.

I trust this information will be of assistance.

几个问题：

一是这封信表明，写信给First lady有一定的作用，尽管从这封信我仍不知道本人得到是肯定或否定之结果，但至少可以认为很快将有结果，即有助于本人的下一步计划之实施。
二是建议等待时间编长（二或二年以上）者尽快给第一夫人写信，至少有助于引起各方面对该工作之现状的重视。
三是我将写信感谢夫人的帮助，我并不介意她本人是否看到我写的信。
四是但愿上述信息对大家有所帮助。
