colaboration

Dear All,

I am sorry for my question here. I am currently working in the accademic field as a research faculty. One company wants either to give me an offer or to collaborate with me. I prefer to collaborating with them since I want to saty in the accademic field. I am wondering whether the company is going to pay me personally or through my department.
