You should try to look around and consult with other lawyers. I believe that your case is stronger than mine. I did my case by myself and hired a lawyer to prepare my RFE for 140 (primaryly independent recommendation letter). I think my lawyer is a good one. If you want, I can give you his information.

BTW, is it 140 or 485 got denied? which center? if it is ok for you to answer these question.
