applying H-1B visa in canada

Hi just want to let every friend who is interested in applying for a h-1B visa outside US know anout this, either in Canada or in Mexico.

I just got mine in Ottawa -- there is nothing to worry about -- as long as you have all your immigration documents available, I-20s, I-94, all the visa stamps on your passport, I-797 -- you will get it. no questions were asked, the officers are very nice.

ONE THING TO REMEMBER THOUGH -- the visa is only valid for 3 months -- i asked the officer and she told me that's because China is in the category of countries whose citizens will be granted only 3 months for h-1 b visa. so plan your trip and make sure it is still valid when you come back to US!!
