xiaobaitu: "只有是否被要求 waiver申请的区别"是什么意思,我不太懂. 有CCP历史的是不是背景调查要拖很久啊. 我6年前来美国, 但是没有officially退党, 可是这么多年没有参加党内任何活动,也没交纳党费,可以说I have not been a party member for 6 years吗? 谢谢小白兔!

背景调查拖很久的 原因是 没有调查清楚，已经clear的不会拖很久，就是一个做决定而已。通常这种情况面谈还是需要的，转到local后快的几个月，慢的一年多。说3-5年太夸张了
