原雇主不能取消I-485申请because I-485 is the property of the beneficiary. The sponsoring employer can revoke the underlying approved I-140, but since I-485 has been pending for more than 180 days, the withdrawal doesn't affect the beneficiary according to AC21.

The similarity of the new job to the old one is defined by job deion, not the title.
