Appling for permanent status means filing 485 or filing 140?

In my case, I filed a NIW 140 several months ago which is still pending while a recent EB1A application was approved a week ago. In this case, to answer the question in Form I-485 page 2,: “have you ever before applied for permanent resident status in the U.S.?” Which one should I choose Yes or No? As this is the first time I file 485, the form for "adjusting the status".
