well, you HAVE TO bug him and HR every other day, make them remember your name, call them, go to their office, send e-mail. Make sure they put your case first!

If you push hard, of course they won't pay much attention to your case. This is not time to be polite!! You pay them, directly or indirectly, so they work for you! You have the right to bug them.
