Can one file two 485 in different catogeries?

My company is sponsoring me for EB1b and I140 and I485 will be co-filed. Meanwhile, my wife is expecting to file 485 for EB2 pretty soon. My question is: can I file two 485s in the different catogeries or we should file seperately? If I do file two 485s, would that affect my EB1b case?
