Re AP. Urgent. Xioabaitu etc: please help

The senator's office has forwarded me an email message from USCIS indicating that my I131 was approved a few days ago and would sent to me soon. However, I checked my status on line it said it was still pending.

Do you think whether I can leave for China? When the new AP arrives, it can be forwarded to me in China.

My current AP is still valid for a few days. The senator's office told me I need to wait until I receive AP.

Do you know any cases that somebody has left before AP arrives and it cuases problems?

My family member in China is very ill.
