Urgent help, please

Hi, I plan to invite my parents to visit us. But my H1b will be expired at the end of this Oct. I havenot gotten the new job offer. My wife is in OPT and got H1b approved. I am not sure whether there is any problem for my parents to get visa since my H1b will expired soon. If have, can I ask my wife to invite my parents? many thanks
