请教NIW材料准备--文章和引用的问题

我原来在国内有两篇paper,一篇是第一作者，但没查到引用情况，另一篇是英文的，第5著者，现有citation 9次。但是这两篇paper 都和我现在做的课题不相关，我应该把它们放在NIW的申请材料里吗？
