Average 70 days to get 485 approval after the 2nd fingerprint

I posted this message in another page...just repost here as a new thread b/c I believe some people might be interested.

A lot people here argue about the correlation between the 2nd FP and 485 approval. I did a quick analysis using the data on the website provided by 我为鱼肉 （http://www.rupnet.com/immigration/approvaltrack.asp?msort=11&month=200209&place=100）. Here are my findings:

Averagely it takes about 70 days to get approval after the second FP. Some interesting statistics:

Min: 5 days
Max: 897 days

There were four approvals coming after >300 days. Kick out these four unusal data points, then:

Mean: 69.01 days
Median: 54.5 days
Standard deviation: 57.45 days
75% range: 20-114 days

Most of people end up getting their approval within 1-4 months after the 2nd FP. So it IS a milestone to get the 2nd FP, although it doesn't tell if your NC is cleared or not.

You're almost there. Don't worry!
