父母B2延期可以交I-94复印件吗?

在I-539的INSTRUCTION上写着要交I94原件：

B-2, visitor for pleasure: If you are filing for an extension/change, you must file your application with the original form I-94 of each person included in your application.

现在I539要差不多三个月才能下来。我怕在这三个月中我爸爸妈妈需要回国，因为奶奶身体不太好。如果真的要回国，I94原件又交上去了，出境的时候怎么办呢？交I94复印件行不行呢？
