XiaoBaiTu: 为什么NIW通过的机会不大 在OPT其间和HIB生效前申请

I just ted my NIW application, and I am now using OPT. I already ted H1B application for continuing my Postdoc before I ted my NIW. I just thought I need to send Immigration Serive Center my H1B visa information after my H1B is approved. an immigration consultant in my school told me it is fine to NIW with OPT. so I am now in confusion. XiaoBaiTu, can you please explain my confusion? many thanks!
