how long does it take INS to mail out a receipt notice

who knows:
how long does it take INS to deposit the check, and how long does it take INS to mail out a receipt notice?

I mailed out the application package to INS at end of March, and got the package returned on April 11th because the application form that i ted is the old version.
so i reted my application, the date that INS received my package was April 13th. but so far, i do not see my check has been withdrew from my bank and have not received any INS notice. I am getting worried in here, and afraid if the package somehow gets returned again and the deadline is getting too close....sign......
