Two offers, which one should I pick

Hi, Friends,

I got two offers. One is lab manager(permanent), salary is about 50K. Another one is a position in company, salary is 70K. My wife wants me to select the first one, because it is easy and stable, and time is flexible. I hesitate, and need your advices.
