临时绿卡问题

递交了临时绿卡申请但没有申请工卡和旅游文件申请。目前持H1B身份。请教各位临时绿卡是否可工作，可出国旅游只是有效期上和正式绿卡不同？

另外，有没有近期结婚移民的朋友可否告知目前这种485调整身份的进度如何？是几个月还是一年半载？衷心感谢！
